Carpet & upholstery cleaning process
All carpet & upholstery goes through a four stage cleaning process for best possible results.
First the carpet is sprayed with Trafficlean pre-treatments to help release heavy soil, oils and grease from the carpet before normal extraction cleaning. Trafficlean contains a power blend of surfactants and water based solvents for effective soil and grease removal. It applies a similar principle to soaking difficult to clean dishes before you try to wash them. It makes the whole process more effective
2) Hot water extraction
Hot water extraction is considered by all carpet manufacturers to be the most effective way of deep cleaning carpets. Hot water (heated up to 80 degrees) is jetted into the carpet at pressure along with Double Clean cleaning solution and then immediately extracted into a holding waste tank that is later disposed of. Double Clean is a heavy duty extraction detergent formulated for optimim performance in cleaning heavily soiled carpet. A twin vacuum high powered extraction machine is used that reduces drying time to around 2-3 hours.
3) Stain removal
Upon completion of the hot water extraction any marks on the carpet that haven't been removed will be treated with various stain removal products. The type of stain will affect the product used.
It must be noted that although every attempt will be made to remove marks and stains it is not possible to guarantee all stains can be removed. Factors including type of stain, texture of carpet and the length of time the stain has been on the carpet will all play a part in determining its removal.
On completion of the cleaning the carpet will be sprayed with a powerful, safe and pleasantly perfumed deodoriser formulated to destroy unpleasant odours in carpets and leave the carpet smelling clean and fresh.
